Welcome to Restaurant NJK — Helsinki’s most beautiful and maritime summer villa!
Built in 1900 on Valkosaari Island, this villa-style restaurant is one of the top venues for summer celebrations and the city’s most popular crayfish restaurant. Open from May to September, Restaurant NJK is the perfect setting for corporate parties, team days, weddings, or other summer festivities.
NJK’s stunning spaces are suitable for a variety of events. The largest room, Keskisali (Main Hall), is a spacious and high-ceilinged hall that makes an impression the moment you step inside. Surrounding the Main Hall are the bright South Veranda and Bar Veranda, offering magnificent views of the Market Square and the southern archipelago through large windows. The Tarantella Cabinet is ideal for smaller meetings and private dinners.
The versatile venue is well-suited for both large and small events. NJK can host events for up to 350 guests, with a seated dining capacity of 250.

Getting to the island is easy by water shuttle, which departs from Valkosaari pier next to the Olympia Terminal at Helsinki’s South Harbour. The short boat ride itself is a wonderful addition to your summer celebration.

Pricing
Private events at NJK are priced with a sales guarantee. When the sales guarantee is met, no separate venue rental fee is charged. The guarantee includes all food and beverage orders placed in advance or during the event.
