Restaurant Strindberg offers a unique dining experience in the heart of the city. Located in one of Helsinki’s most iconic spots—right next to Esplanade Park, at the corner of Pohjoisesplanadi and Mikonkatu—Strindberg combines elegance with a prime location.
The inviting second-floor restaurant space is both lively and atmospheric. From Strindberg’s large windows, you can watch the city life go by and admire the beauty of Helsinki. It’s an excellent venue for various celebrations and dinner events.
Restaurant Strindberg consists of two dining areas—the old and new sections—as well as a private cabinet. For events and private functions, you can reserve one part or the entire venue. The restaurant can host seated dinners for up to 170 guests, and there's also a separate bar area adjoining the dining room.
For private events, there is typically no separate venue rental fee—charges are based on the ordered food and beverages.
